When we first set eyes on these large hourglasses, we knew
we had found something special. They are made by a company
in the North of England, who have for 30 years garnered
old industrial artefacts belonging to our industrial past
from all over Britain. They have a workshop where all re-useable
parts of these artefacts are cleaned, waxed and polished,
turning them into a wide variety of interesting and beautiful
objects. Their aim is to maintain the characteristics of
the artefacts, consistent with offering authentic, affordable
and attractive gifts, which you would be proud to give and
delighted to receive. Being genuine and unique, it follows
that these hourglasses are always slightly different
from each other. Here we present three of our favourite
hourglasses. |

Timer |

A large Hourglass, 1 foot high, is a wonderful object
to behold, and we are sure Merlin would have been
really proud of this one! The wooden body is made
from an old bobbin, originally used back in the hey-day
Britain's textile industry. |

Timer |
|
Our Pear Timer is one of our favourites, owing to
it's elegant appearance and smooth lines. Aorund 10
inches high, runs for 5 minutes. |

| 3-Tier
Timer |
|
Our 3-Tier Timer is special in that it has three chambers,
making it slightly more unusual. Like the Pear Timer,
this timer is set to run for 5 minutes. |

Hourglass |

A large Hourglass, ca. 14-inches high. This is our
largest Hourglass that runs for a full 60 minutes.

Our Giant Hourglass is around 2 feet (600mm) high,
and comes in three variations: 1 hour, 2 hours and
3 hours. British made, Wooden frame reclaimed from
antique bobbin, Specialist blown-glass sand chamber.
Makes a very striking display. |
